David Crosswhite is an experienced advisor to senior management, speaker and author on the topics of driving growth and strategic innovation agendas within large organizations and legacy business models and ecosystems.
David’s work in growth strategy and strategic innovation advisory spans the last 25 years. During that time, he founded and built multiple advisory practices including Strategos Inc. and ITC Business Group. He has worked across industries including consumer goods and durables, retail, health care, financial services and industrial products. He is most known for his work with organizations that embed an organizational capability for and a culture of innovation. His work is well documented in multiple Harvard Business School and Corporate Executive Board case studies and is taught on a regular basis at business schools throughout the country.
Most recently, David’s innovation efforts focused on bringing consumer-centric innovation to health care delivery with not-for-profit and for-profit health care providers.
David co-authored The Innovator’s Field Guide, published by Wiley and Sons in 2014; “Elevating Your Organization’s Consumerism IQ” — HFM, August 2016; “A Solution for a Lack of Breakthrough Innovation” — Strategy & Leadership, August 2014; and multiple other articles and blogs on the topic of growth, innovation, consumer-centric strategy development and organizational design.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Cove School in Northbrook, Illinois, a school dedicated to the education and overall development of children with special learning needs.
David earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and holds a B.S. in engineering from Lehigh University.
